Facial Cupping with silicone cups is a gentle, modern adaptation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cupping therapy, designed specifically for the delicate skin of the face. Unlike body cupping, facial cupping uses soft, flexible cups to create light suction that stimulates circulation, boosts collagen production, and promotes lymphatic drainage. The result is a brighter, more lifted, and rejuvenated complexion.

Benefits:

  • Enhances blood flow and skin radiance

  • Reduces puffiness and fine lines

  • Promotes collagen and elastin production

  • Supports detoxification and lymphatic flow

Contraindications:
Facial cupping should be avoided on broken, irritated, or inflamed skin, active acne, rosacea, or recent cosmetic procedures (like Botox or fillers). It’s also not recommended for those with very sensitive skin or certain skin conditions. Always perform cupping with clean tools, light pressure, and proper technique.

FAQs

  • Most people describe it as a pulling or tight sensation that is deeply relaxing. The pressure can be adjusted for comfort. Some feel immediate relief, while others notice benefits over the next day or two as their skin responds.

  • Not usually. Facial cupping is much gentler than body cupping, and the cups are continuously moved rather than left stationary on the skin. While minor redness or light 'sha' may occur, it typically fades within one to two days.

    • Stay hydrated before and after your session

    • Eat a light meal beforehand (avoid coming on an empty or overly full stomach)

    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

    • Avoid caffeine or alcohol before your appointment

We’ll guide you through everything when you arrive. Notify the practitioner if you most recently had botox, excessive sun exposure, or a chemical peel.

  • Post-session care includes:

    • Avoiding extreme temperatures such as excessive cold or heat exposure

    • Do not engage in intense exercise, or take a hot showers for 4–6 hours afterwards.

    • Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

    • Rest if you feel tired or emotional—this is part of the body’s healing response.

We’ll always review your health history and adjust the treatment accordingly.

  • For general wellness or stress relief, twice a month may be ideal. For intensive collagen stimulation bi-weekly sessions or a series of treatments may be more effective. We'll work together to find the right rhythm for you.
